Elli is an 8-year-old mixed breed female dog (Havanese / Coton de Tulear) born in Oulu, Finland, region from her breeder’s second litter. Before Elli, the family had two Spanish Water Dogs with whom they had two litters. The family wanted, and indeed got, a wonderfully different, furry family member.
Elli’s personality is all Havanese, but her coat resembles a Coton’s: a bright white, soft fluff. She’s a happy little rascal, a captivating character, an eternal clown, quick to learn, gentle, and deeply attached to people—especially her own family, following them everywhere. She can go anywhere with you: to terraces, restaurants, dog stores, parties, and so on. Elli loves water more than anything—showers, swimming, splashing, boating, paddleboarding, and so forth, though she absolutely hates rain. Snow is also the best, in every form.
Her favorite activities include enrichment games and searching for treats, both indoors and outdoors. Elli has flown all over Europe more than 15 times, making travel easy on any mode of transportation. She loves roaming in forests, hiking nature trails, and, in summer, spending time at the cottage and boating on lakes and rivers.
